On 29th - 30th November, our talented gymnast Divyana Prakash (Year 9B) represented Invictus International School (Spring Hills) at the Bambi Games Invitational Meet 2025 for Artistic Gymnastics โ and she shined! ๐ ๐ 4 Gold Medals โ Level 2 Out of more than 1,000 participants across four levels (0โ3) from gymnastics schools all over Asia, Divyana delivered an exceptional performance. โญ Major Highlights: โข 2nd place out of 259 participants in the beam discipline โข 29th overall out of 259 across all disciplines โ beam, floor, bars & vault Congratulations, Divyana! On Saturday, two of our talented students, Mary (Y8) and Elsa (Y11), took part in a dance performance at the Permaisuri Zarith Sofiah Opera House in Johor. Both girls are dedicated members of the Asia City Dance Studio in PonderosaโMary at Grade 7 and Elsa at Grade 6. That evening, they performed pieces from the iconic ballet Swan Lake in front of a full and appreciative audience. On 5th December, students from EYFS and Year 8 brought the Christmas magic to the stage for our special Assembly! The collaboration between our youngest students and our secondary learners was fantastic. Together, they performed beautifully, filling the hall with joy as they sang classic Christmas songs and had everyone giggling with festive riddle jokes! It was a morning packed with talent, fun, and true holiday spirit. Our students participated at the 11th Daedo Taekwondo Open Championships, held from 5โ7 December 2025 in Singapore. Tharshannya Palamuthan (Year 10 Joy) delivered an exceptional performance, defeating her first opponent from Australia and her next two opponents from Singapore to clinch the GOLD medal. Her sisters also made us proud; Cherrvinyaa Palamuthan (Year 4 Kindness) and Devvashyaa Palamuthan (Year 2 Care) each fought with courage and earned Bronze medals in their respective categories. Their achievements reflect their hard work, discipline, and true Taekwondo spirit. On 4th December, we successfully hosted our Swimming Information Session for parents. Thank you to everyone who joined us! The session was a valuable opportunity to provide clear details on three core areas: PE Swimming Curriculum: Understanding how swimming is integrated into Physical Education. ECA Swimming Program: Details on our extracurricular swimming opportunities. Safety Measures: A thorough overview of the robust safety protocols we have in place for all aquatic activities. We appreciate the open discussion and the chance to address all parent questions and concerns regarding our swimming provision. Our academic and operations staff enjoyed a lively afternoon of friendly badminton matches in the multipurpose hall. It was a wonderful opportunity for colleagues from different departments to step away from their routines, connect with one another, and engage in a fun, healthy activity. The hall buzzed with laughter, encouragement, and team spirit as staff rallied, cheered, and shared moments of friendly competition. On 24th November, we held our successful workshop, "A Day in FS with Ms Charlotte Squire." A HUGE thank you to all the parents who joined us! During the session, parents gained valuable insights into their children's carefully planned and engaging routinesโfrom enriching outdoor learning to robust academic development in Maths and English. We were also thrilled to introduce Tapestry, our new online learning journal, which will help us share and celebrate every single milestone with you!
