Our campus was filled with festive joy as students and staff welcomed the Lunar New Year through a variety of exciting activities! From the fun challenge of who could eat a mandarin orange the fastest ๐ to beautiful traditional wear showcases by Year 4 and Year 9 models, the celebration was full of colour and culture. The lively lion dance brought good fortune and energy, while students also presented a performance sharing the history and meaning of the Lunar New Year. ๐ฒ๐ญ A wonderful day of learning, laughter, and cultural appreciation for our whole school community. On 25 Feb 2026, our Business & Economics students joined a leadership workshop by SEG Switzerland. They explored leadership vs management, motivation, and organisational culture โ then put theory into action through the Lego Challenge, building silently to practise communication and teamwork. A fun, hands-on session that strengthened problem-solving, adaptability, and real-world business skills! Thank you to all parents who joined our recent Primary Coffee Morning on 24th February 2026 We shared key March updates, guidance on accessing student reports, and introduced our Primary Science programme โ including curriculum insights and how Science is taught and assessed from Year 1 to Year 6. Parents also received practical tips on supporting Science learning at home, and we welcomed those with a Science background to get involved during the year, including STEM Week in March. The โFood Squadโ, a young music band formed by students from Year 5 Care, represented Malaysia in the England International Music Competition and won the bronze medal. Congratulations to Vandrich Tang, Shiny Lok, Lau Kiong Oon and Kiyo Nai Yow Jia. This week in EY2 Panda Class ๐ผ, the children began our new topic, Amazing Animals, with a focus on pets! They explored how to care for animals through role play, pretending to be veterinary doctors, and learned what pets need to stay happy and healthy ๐ถ๐ฑ. In Expressive Arts and Design, they created colourful handprint fish bowl crafts, and in Phonics, they focused on the ie sound by making a fun tie craft. Our Year 10 students spent weeks prepping their arguments before the school holidays, and today they finally took the stage! It was an incredible battle of wits between 10 Care and 10 Joy/Kindness as students tackled a very modern dilemma: 'Should AI be used as a main education tool in schools?' From analysing the future of technology to debating the importance of the traditional classroom, both teams showed incredible critical thinking and public speaking skills. It was inspiring to see our students engage so professionally with such a complex and timely topic. Year 3 and Year 4 students gathered in the multipurpose hall for their assembly, which focused on both physical wellbeing and positive thinking. The session began with a discussion about how staying active not only keeps our bodies healthy, but also helps our minds remain focused and calm. The Year 3 students then took to the stage to lead their peers in an energetic Zumba dance, and the hall quickly filled with music, movement, and laughter as everyone joined in to loosen their muscles and have fun together. Following this, the Year 4 students delivered an engaging presentation on growth mindset, the power of thinking positively and embracing challenges. They performed a short skit illustrating how a mistake in an artwork could be transformed into a masterpiece, reinforcing the message that setbacks can become opportunities for growth.
