We are thrilled to share the outstanding achievements of Ng Xi Rui at the 1st Madwave - Johor Challenge 2026, on 31 October-1 November 2026 at Educity Sport Complex, Johor Bahru. Xi Rui clinched total 12 medals in the two-day event with 7 Golds and 5 Silvers. She was also awarded The Best Swimmer for Group 4 Girls 10โ11 Years Old! On this follow-up teacher-led session, our Year 6 team continued their Professional-Development presentation to the rest of the Primary academic staff. In this session, Mr Christo Brand started with recalling what was discussed previously in the last term, on lesson delivery and good practice. There were many interesting topics of discussion this time around, and one was โI taught itโ is not the same as โthey learned itโ, and nodding isnโt an indication of understanding a concept. Sharing teaching strategies, planning methods and effective delivery and pedagogy is something our academic staff do on a regular basis during our sessions together, increasing better alignment and consistency. Our school came alive with the warmth, colour and joy of Festival of Lights! The celebrations were filled with lively dances, Indian classical performances, the Pulli Kolam Inter-House Challenge, the Diwali Dance-Off Hook Step Challenge, a fun staff performance and a spectacular Dhol finale. Most importantly, we were delighted to welcome our parents to join us and share in the joy of Deepavali. Their presence made the celebration even more special as students, staff and families came together to celebrate the spirit of unity, kindness, joy and togetherness. Happy Deepavali from all of us at IHH! It is another joyful celebration of Momoe's success at the Euroasia Competition 2026 โ Johor Bahru Regional Round, held on 4 October 2026 at Holiday Villa Johor Bahru City Centre. Competing in the Young Artiste Junior Category (Ages 14 and Under), Strings Division, Momoe proudly earned the Gold Award with her violin performance of โSummerโ from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons (3rd Movement โ Presto). With this achievement, Momoe has also qualified for the Final Round at Sunway University on 5โ6 December 2026.
