House System

Invictus International School is divided into 4 sub-units called “Houses” with each student allocated to a house on enrolment. Each House includes pupils from every grade, fostering a sense of community throughout the school and allowing greater interaction of students of different ages through vertical age alignment. Our house system brings students closer together and encourages community and mutual respect. Being part of a ‘House’ within the school creates a sense of belonging, camaraderie, and identity that is beneficial to both new and current students. New students more quickly assimilate into a smaller subunit of the school, and current students make stronger bonds and connections with their peers.

Invictus International School has four Houses: Jupiter, Mars, Neptune, and Ceres The names given to the Houses represent the Planets found in the Solar System.

The House System aims to develop five important themes and skills for all students:
  • Leadership
  • Sportsmanship

Teamwork & Participation
  • Planning
  • Honesty

House groups meet regularly and students take part in a wide variety of House activities and competitions throughout the year. Students can get House Points from these events and also through excellent classwork, homework and displaying

Network Values with the following as examples:
  • Outstanding learning and achievement
  • Excellent work
  • Improved work
  • Being kind to another student(s)
  • Marked improvement in attitude
  • Improved effort
  • Sporting and other events such as quizzes, spelling competitions, art & design, and music
