Ms. Amy is born and raised in the southern end of Peninsular Malaysia, Johor Bahru. She is a teacher full of curiosity. She loves to explore new and interesting subjects with her students.

Amy believes in the power of curiosity and the learner's imagination in learning. Her primary goal as an educator is to foster a learning environment in which students feel valued and supported.

Amy taught in different international schools throughout her teaching journey and placement majorly in teaching English, Math, and science. She taught Year 4 and 5 in her placement and taught Year 1 for a year and a half. Amy started to develop different strategies and techniques for delivering her lesson at different year levels. She met and worked together with various needs of students from different parts of the world. On the other hand, she also has experience working with students under the spectrum, with ADHD, and students with language difficulty. She works collaboratively with SEN teachers and shadow aid to help in building a routine that best suits the needs of her students.

In her free time, Amy loves to travel and hike and spend most of her time outdoors
