Kate graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Mathematics from the University of Plymouth. She then began her teaching career by completing a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics at The University of Southampton.

Kate has taught secondary school Mathematics in Hampshire and Dorset for 8 years as well as taking on a Deputy Team Leader in Mathematics role for 4 years. Kate has previously taken on a role as Acting Head of Mathematics. Kate was born in Somerset and is enthusiastic about wildlife, hiking, cycling and enjoys most outdoor activities. She moved to Malaysia in 2023 to continue her teaching career internationally.
