Stuart Parkinson has taught at schools in the UK and Myanmar. He has recently spent 6 years at a highly diverse school in East London with very high attainment. He has a BEng from the University of Liverpool and a PGCE from University College London.

After growing up in Spain and the UK, he worked in IT in the US before deciding to become a teacher. It seemed like a more fulfilling career and has never looked back.

Stuart is joined in Malaysia by his wife and 4-year-old child, with whom he loves spending time with. He likes to keep active and be surrounded by nature. To unwind he enjoys doing DIY electronics projects and reading popular science books.
