Hidayat is a Malaysian national with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and has completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Taylor’s University.

With a fervent belief in the transformative power of sports, Hidayat has accumulated four years of experience teaching Physical Education in an international school setting throughout primary and secondary level. His commitment to shaping young minds extends beyond the classroom, fostering teamwork, discipline, resilience, and sportsmanship.

In January 2024, Hidayat joined Repton as a PE teacher, contributing his expertise to the school's educational ethos. Outside the academic realm, he finds joy in sports, arts, hiking, and traveling, utilizing his free time to explore diverse interests and maintain a balanced lifestyle.
